WHA Welcomes New Director of Member Engagement

The Washington Health Alliance is thrilled to welcome a Director of Member Engagement, Nick Jackal, who will build on our efforts to drive collaboration to improve the quality, affordability, accessibility and equity of healthcare in Washington state.

Nick brings more than a decade of experience in public affairs and community engagement, with a background spanning political campaigns, nonprofit leadership, healthcare innovation, and civic advocacy. Before joining WHA, Nick worked with the Downtown Seattle Association, Cambia Grove and more.

Throughout his career, including 15 years in Washington state, Nick has demonstrated a commitment to systems thinking, trust-building, and public service. His believes meaningful change is driven by inclusive collaboration and a shared commitment to equity.  

In his role, Nick will continue to strengthen our collaborative, multistakeholder approach to healthcare improvement, bringing together more than 125 members drawn from Washington’s largest employers, union trusts, health plans, medical groups and more.
