Substance Use Disorder: Affordable Treatment on Your Employees’ Terms
Substance Use Disorder is a growing condition both within Washington State and across the country. However, the health care system has been struggling to meet the needs.
In Washington state, recent figures show roughly 6% of residents need treatment for alcohol abuse, and 3% need treatment for illicit drug abuse.
On Jan. 9, the Alliance brought together to share how to remove barriers to care to ensure everyone has access to evidence-based, evidence-led substance use disorder treatment.
Speakers include:
- Denise Giambalvo, Director of Member Engagement and Business Strategy, Washington Health Alliance
- Sara Young, MBA, VP of Partner Success, Boulder Care
- Amy Potter, MD, Associate Medical Director, Boulder Care
