Welcome new members International Community Health Services and Woodcreek Healthcare
This month, we’re excited to welcome two new members: International Community Health Services and Woodcreek Healthcare. Thanks to the support of our members, the Alliance is able to produce the Community Checkup and move the needle toward a more transparent and high-quality health system.
International Community Health Services
International Community Health Services (ICHS) is a nonprofit community health center that offers affordable health care services to Seattle and King County’s Asian, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities, as well as other underserved communities. For over 40 years, ICHS has provided culturally-appropriate and multilingual care to improve the health of our community. ICHS began in 1973 as a small storefront clinic in Seattle’s International District. Today it is the largest Asian, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community health center in Washington state.
Woodcreek Healthcare
Woodcreek Healthcare, specializing in pediatrics, urgent care, allergies and asthma and behavioral health, provides a broad range of outpatient health care services for the Puyallup, Bonney Lake and South Hill communities. They have serving east Pierce County since 1979. Beginning as a pediatric practice, they expanded their services to include an urgent care clinic which accommodates the urgent medical needs of not only children, but their parents and adults in general.
